In terms of allowable activities, the ARPA is less restrictive than the CARES Act, but there are still strings attached, and guidance is likely to be issued throughout the life of the program. Compliance strategies are critical on the front-end of the program; procedures and documentation should be developed in conjunction with spending strategies, and not after the fact.

P&N’s compliance team can help your organization consider compliance issues from all angles, before, during, and after the program.

Our disaster recovery and grants administration teams are versed in the various federal regulations governing disasters and federal awards, including:

  • American Rescue Plan Act & CARES Act
  • FEMA Individual & Public Assistance
  • Department of Housing and Urban Development – Community Development Block Grant (HUD-CDBG)
  • Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP)
  • Elementary and Secondary Education Act Programs
  • Emergency Food Assistance Programs
  • Uniform Guidance

Governmental Entities

P&N has performed single audits under OMB’s Uniform Guidance on major federal programs of 75 governmental entities.

Our goal is to help your organization run an audit-ready program.
